First Round Of Edits Completed

I received and approved the first round of edits for my Fall For You manuscript yesterday. It’s amazing that no matter how many times you go over your own writing, it takes a fresh set of eyes to catch some simple mistakes. Let’s just say that “ravish” works for our heroine a whole lot better than “ravage.” Oops! Luckily, I was paired with a fabulous editor who caught and fixed my slip ups. I also made a few changes, so now we are on to round two of edits. After those are complete, my manuscript will be given to a line editor/proofreader to make sure everything looks right. After that, it will be set for publishing! I am still anxiously waiting for the cover art. I can’t wait to see what the art department at #LSBooks comes up with. This is all still so new for me, so every step is exciting! As soon as I get something, I’ll do a cover reveal. In the mean time, I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. 🙂

New Website And A New Romance On The Way!

There have been a lot of changes as of late. My wonderful friend, Tracy, made this beautiful website for me. This is my new author home. I love it!

My new contemporary romance, FALL FOR YOU, is going through final edits and should be out by March 2015. The art department at LSBooks is designing the cover and as soon as it’s ready, I’ll show it off. 🙂

I’m excited about FALL FOR YOU and can’t wait for it’s release date! Very soon, I’ll provide links for pre-ordering my new book. It will be available at the LSBooks website, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. I think you’ll love it as much as I do.

This book is the first in THE MADISON FALLS SERIES.

FALL FOR YOU stars Sophie Brandon and Reed Sutton. Sophie owns her own bakery, The Cookie Jar. Reed, the new manager of Sutton Construction, has quite the sweet tooth! (And an even bigger craving for Sophie!)

Sophie Brandon is in a bind.

After eight years, Reed Sutton is back in town, and back on Sophie’s radar. Her high school crush is home to stay and hotter than ever. How can she avoid the gorgeous construction manager when she needs work done in her bakery?

Reed knows he’s overqualified for the simple renovation, but when it comes to sweet Sophie, he’s the man for the job. Her kitchen heats up when one kiss leads to more and a storeroom mishap throws her right into Reed’s arms. Once he catches her, he can’t seem to keep his hands off of her…cookies.

Small town gossip mixed with threats against Sophie are a recipe for disaster. Will history repeat itself or will love conquer all?
